Featured Destinations
Every wilderness has its own rules of access. Here are a few we specialize in
White Desert — Antarctica
The only luxury operator offering access to Antarctica's remote interior, not reachable by sea. Fly private charter from Cape Town to a private blue-ice runway, then stay in heated en-suite camps hosting just 12 guests at a time. Visit the South Pole and Emperor penguin colonies at Atka Bay—one of the rarest journeys on Earth, available for only 11 weeks each year.
Singita Sasakwa Lodge — Serengeti, Tanzania
An Edwardian manor house set on a private hilltop within the 340,000-acre Grumeti Reserve, directly in the path of the Great Migration. Each suite has its own heated infinity plunge pool overlooking the plains, and Singita's private guides are among the most respected in East Africa. Proceeds support the Grumeti Fund, one of Tanzania's largest conservation initiatives.
Explora — Torres del Paine, Patagonia
The only lodge inside Torres del Paine National Park itself, with panoramic views of the granite towers that give the park its name. More than 40 guided explorations are included—hiking, horseback riding, and boat access to remote trailheads—with rooms designed to keep you looking out the window rather than at a screen (no TVs, by design).
These are three of the expeditions we return to most—each offering a different relationship with the wild, from polar silence to open savanna to glacial peaks.
